Channeling: Amy Winehouse

It’s time for my first IFB project. This week's project is about remembering Amy Winehouse.
I’m gonna be honest here. When I think about Amy I don’t think about her music. Actually, I’ve only heard one of her songs (a penny to whoever guesses which one). When I think of Amy I think of her at her worst. I think of the drug abuse, the tabloid photos of her looking like a train wreck.

That’s not how an artist deserves to be remembered. The least I can do is remember her not as a trainwreck, but as an artist. I can remember her for her music.

So as a tribute to Amy, I put in my Bump-it (I have no idea why I bought it) and donned some of my mother’s makeup (I like to go bare-faced, what can I say?) and took a few pictures.


I don’t quite think I got the look down (I was running out of eyeliner, and Bump-its only go so high) but it’s something.
